Can Bluetooth settings be done from the command line i.e. editable file

When i initially installed auto pumpkin KLD device in my car, all was good. Bluetooth configured through the bluetooth app/phone dialer and through settings/bluetooth. This was on 4.4.4_01122014 with KLD-V2.12 firmware

A friend of mine installed a couple of apps (Torque Lite SkyGo etc) I then noticed my phone hadn't connected.

Went to the bluetooth app, and in the settings pane, there was no device name or pin.

clicked on the box and entered name, clicked next and entered pin for bluetooth and clicked finish. went back to search and pair up phone, but circle just span.

Checked settings and name and PIN had disappeared.

Went to Settings app, and went to bluetooth line, clicked on device name to set, and get a message saying unfortunately settings has stopped. No rhyme or reason.

Have read a few posts, and have cleared cache etc.

Have also changed to kit kat 4.4.4_23122014 with KLD-V2.21 firmware.

Same thing.

Can anyone help me get my bluetooth working again.

I am fairly techie, I am used to Ubuntu and Windows etc, but not overly familiar with android.

Unit is rooted, and I have a terminal window installed

Thanks in advance.
