Store photos automatically into YYYY/MM/DD/ folder

Is it possible to store photos automatically into a YYYY/MM/DD/ folder?

With my digital camera (Canon) I get images with gphoto2 and use an exif-tool to store the pictures into a date based structure: YYYY/MM/DD/.

With android I would like to store them directly into this structure into a directory which gets synced with owncloud/dropbox.

I search my camera app, but could not find a way to alter the storage directory.
