I have been playing with various sound formats on my Android phone, and initial testing showed that I was able to play back Speex files on my phone with no problem. Now that I've transferred several dozen of these files to my phone, I've discovered that some, but not all, don't work.
My first thought was that perhaps VBR files aren't supported, so I re-enocded some VBR files to CBR, and they still don't work on the phone.
Where can I read about Android's support for Speex files? Which bitrates or other parameters are supported, and which are not?
