Automatic update process on Nexus 4 after downloading file

I have Nexus 4 and I got an offer to update to Android 5. I started the process and the downloading of file took a long time so I decided not to continue with updating immediately but next day. Next day, unfortunately, my phone has restarted and I lost the option to continue with update. Android update check informs me that version of my Android is 4.4.4 and it is up to date.

Do you know how can I continue with updating of my device? Is there a file downloaded that blocks update service to see current state and offer updates?

Just got Digiland 7" Tablet as gift, is there a battery I can buy to carry to hook up externally if installed battery runs low?

Received this 1st tablet as gift and love it so far, is as fast as my laptop and have been able to do all I do with it just fine. Only thing box states battery power as only three hours so wondering if there is battery I can buy to carry with me that I can plug in on outside where has plug ins incase the one inside tablet runs low... is there such a thing?

App for Contributing to Google Translate

I want to be able to contribute to Google Translate on my native language (Sinhala).

Although there is an online portal (http://translate.google.com/community/) where we can contribute to the translator by translating new phrases or validating existing translations, I could not find any Android apps that seem to support these features. I could not find any contribution-related features in the Google Translate app as well.

Does anyone know of any apps that offer these translation contribution features?

Device memory full for strange reason?

My device memory is saying 'storage full...' etc etc, so I deleted the largest apps which I assumed were taking up the space. But no difference has been made. I also moved very large apps to my memory card but no difference. I can't even download the smallest app without the phone saying 'error, insufficient memory' or re-install the apps I deleted to make more space.

problem installing over an app installed from google play

I encountered The following issue on two samsung galaxy s4 devices:

When trying to install a newer version of an by clicking an APK file in an email message it works o.k.. If trying to install another new copy from a new APK over the previously installed one it also work.

But if the original version from google play is installed and we try to install the APK from the email we get a message App not installed and obviously the app does not get installed...

just to clarify - both the versions are written by me, both signed and use the same ID. and there is a major version number change between them.

How can I know if things will go o.k. if I submit the new version to Google play?

Is there an official limit that refers the the source of installation having to be the same for an update?

Is there any way to override this limit?

I followed the advice given by @GiantTree in this conmment

I installed a terminal emulator and executed pm install -r mypackage.apk which gave something like 60 lines saying try again in 1second (missing space in original message) then it said twice failed to connect to dumpstate service and finally killed.

Executing logcat >log.txt I found the line: `java.lang.SecurityException:

Neither user 10210 nor current process has android.permission.INSTALL_PACKAGES.

UPDATE 2:

upon better examining of the log file I found this line:

D/InstallAppProgress( 8973): Installation error code: -25

but I can't find what does this error code means...

Still Looking for further suggestions...
