Dialling a conference number from the location field in the calendar application?

Background:

Our company has recently replaced all of the BB devices with new Samsung Galaxy S4 phones. They are brilliant in terms of the functions available to them compared to that of the BB. However, one major flaw is the lacking ability to call a conference line (or any number) from the "location" field in and of the Calendar applications.

Question:

Is there a way to either add the dialler application as an option to launch when clicking on the location field in the calendar, or is there any other alternative application that has this ability?

Note:

I have read a number of articles about this and there are a lot "workarounds" with adding the number to the description field and alerting contacts. The issue with this is that everyone in the company is used to creating the events in a certain way and getting everyone to change will be a difficult job to say the least.
