Getting java.net.UnknownHostException while trying to access web service

I'm using Genymotion emulator to test my android applications , and i have a web service hosted in IIS, i can access the web service from the emulator browser ,but when i'm trying to access it from my application i always have java.net.UnknownHostException, can anyone explain how can i correctly configure the emulator to access the web service ???
