Script or Other Technique Needed to Restore Icon Shortcuts on Rooted HTC Desire 601 that Uses Link2SD

I have an HTC Desire 601 which has been rooted so that I could add a 64GB microSD card and allow apps to be installed to part of the SD card via Link2SD. Link2SD doesn't seem to quite work 100% with my device because every time I do a (full) restart of the device, it can't mount the second partition. This requires me to do a (quick) reboot and then the second partition is mounted. I guess that's my root problem, but I've asked around and haven't got a solution to that problem.

Anyway, if I have to live with that problem, my next problem is that when I do a (full) reboot, all of my icon shortcuts (and shortcut groups) that I've created disappear. I have to recreate them after I do the (quick) reboot. Does anyone know how I can prevent them from disappearing? Or, if they do disappear, is there a script I can (write and then) execute that will restore them? Or, are there alternate shortcut creating apps out there that would prevent shortcuts from disappearing I could use instead of the native shortcut creating mechanism that HTC provides?

Thanks for any suggestions...
