Is there any built-in or third party application to write android system/application logs to a file. I searched the web and found that I have to attach the device through USB to the computer and the run some adb commands!
However, I need something like /var/log/messages in linux operating systems. I want to put the log/debug daemon in the background and then leave the device to find why it randomly get freeze. As a result of black screen, I have to remove the battery and power on the device again.
