Unable to send SMS to 3-6 digit numbers from Micromax A110q mobile

I am trying to send message to 3-6 digits number, but getting the message 'Message not sent'. I am trying to send some sms to tatasky which has 6 digit number, even for balance enqiry to vodafone 141 and many such.. Kindly provide an solution or an alternative for it.. I feel this is major issue related yo SMS in micromax A110q cell.
