Can I load FILMON to a Chromecast device to watch UK TV

I am a brit ex-pat now living in southern Italy. At the moment I can watch all the normal UK live TV channels on my laptop via FILMON, the reception is fantastic and I never have a problem. If I buy a CHROMECAST device to connect to my TV and using Wi-Fi can I still watch all the UK live TV channels, but on my TV. I see a few comments on this site saying that they are using a smartphone. I do not have a smartphone. As you can probably gather I am not even a tiny bit technical. Many thanks in advance.
