cannot create dir '/data/data/com.whatsapp' : I/O error

My whatsapp application suddenly missing on my Samsung Galaxy S3. When tried to install it again, recieved the following error : "Insufficient storage available "

My phone is rooted. I've check '/data/data ' folder and did not find 'com.whatsapp' file.

When I tried to create the file, it doesn't allow me to create the file with that name, however I can create files with any other name than 'com.whatsapp'

My android version is 4.2.2

Does anybody has encountered this error before?

Any help is appreciated.

I've tried to wipe everything clean and reformat my phone, but the error is still the same.
