CyanogenMod on Samsung Galaxy S5 and roaming

I'm getting a Galaxy S5, and would like to put CyanogenMod on it to eliminate the bloatware and get a preferred UI experience.

Noticed a big warning on the wiki saying not to use it on Verizon and ATT as they enforce boot image signing.

I'm on Rogers in Canada, but sometimes when I go to the US I swap in a SIM card from Verizon. Would installing CyanogenMod cause me the misery forewarned on the wiki?
