Andro and file shredder

I downloaded andro shredder on my phone so i can erase my internal storage and it told me what there was to erase which was /mnt/sdcard and after if finished it said wiping successful and i would really like to know if that did the job of clearing any previously deleted things such as photos and apps? Ps. I have a Galaxy s2
