Can I use my LG smartphone's hotspot to connect a Ethernet wired device? Let me say it another way (I'm not so bright) I have a device that I must connect via CAT5 to the internet to receive the data It transmits on my laptop I run into what I guess are firewall issues that block the signal. (Device not smart enough to deal with passwords?) I really need to find a way that I am not literally tied to a wall plug. Any suggestions? I cannot make the device cellular on it's own. I need to be able To demo what It does when plugged into a standard wall CAT5 when I run up against closed systems or when internet connections are not available.
