HTC Dot View "Icompatible with other application(s) using same shared user ID"

I bought an HTC Desire 620G dual sim last month and this month, I bought the HTC Dot View mobile cover. The Dot Veiw which is preinstaled is working fine, and it is not a hardware issue, so when I try to install the HTC Dot View app, it displays this message: "Incompatible with other application(s) using same shared user ID" My phone runs on Android 4.4.2 and its got Google Play Services working on it. I've already talked to the HTC Support Centre exective, and he says there's no way to troubleshoot it and I'm gonna have to visit the Support Centre. But I just wanted to know more about the issue, can anyone help me? Thanks!
