Restore google chrome bookmarks

I know this may seem as a stupid problem with no solution but i decided to give it a try anyway. I restored my sister's nexus 7 to factory image so everything was erased, and when i wanted to restore google chrome bookmarks I couldn't and I think that's because she didn't sign in to chrome so all the bookmarks were saved locally and not synced to here google account. And my question is: is there a way to restore these bookmarks ?
