Wii mote controller on Galaxy s4 (no root)

I tried to connect a wii mote to my Galaxy s4 (kit kat), I get an error no route to host.

I searched for a solution online but the best answers are to root (It voids warranty) or to wait for some software upgrade.

Do you know if something changes on lollypop? Do you know some controller that might work? I heard about Moga and Mad cats but I'd like something below 30$.

The main usage would be on MAME and psx emulator, support for native games is less important.
