Alternate Facebook apps

I don't use facebook, my wife does.

She says that she doesn't see all the stuff posted by her friends and people she follows. I checked and what she says is true. She sees only a small amount of stuff posted by friends and people she follows. I tried setting NewsFeed to both Top Stories and Most Recent. Sometimes one works better and sometimes the other.

She can see all their posts, if she visits their page, though.

I can understand why the facebook app may be filtering - a lot of people have lots of friends, groups, followings etc & they do algorithmic filtering. But my wife has around 15-20 friends and followings in total. On the average there are 15-25 posts she should be getting each day, but because of the facebook app's filtering, she gets far less.

Are there any non-official apps which do this better - i.e. showing each and everything post which should be on her feed. There isn't too many other features she is looking for this.

She is using the facebook app on 2012 Nexus 7.
