Avoided poor internet connection message with Cyanogenmod

I recently installed Cyanogenmod 9 in my Xperia Neo V and after that I have been getting internet problems. I always connect to a network called "Eduroam" (a global educational wifi network), which gave me no problems before. However now it works for some days but then the wifi gets into a loop of connecting, obtaining IP, and then avoided poor internet connection message.

The only way to solve the issue is by deleting the dhpc folder from the memory. (From a terminal, I run rm -r data/misc/dhcp). I got this solution from the internet of course. However, this solution is not permanent as after a few days it happens again.

Now, this does not happen with all wifi networks. Eduroam requires a username and a password (instead of passwords only as common wireless networks). So, I imagine it is a problem with the dhcp settings but I'm quite noob on these things.

This is the info about the network: PEAP as EAP method, has no Phase-2 authentification, no certificate, no proxy and DHCP as IP settings. I have no idea how to proceed from here. Should I use static IP?
