Can't QR Web code inside WhatsApp [duplicate]

I have the new app version on my Android and activate the 'Scan code' option there, but for some reason can't QR the code inside my Chrome web browser, seems that WhatsApp doesn't switch on my QR code reader, Can you tell me whats wrong? Thanks.
