Asus fonepad 7 or Moto G 2013 to get maximum battery life for an avid e-reader?

My primary purpose of getting a new smartphone is maximum battery life (and secondary purposes will be talking on phone, browsing internet, etc). Since I read a lots of e-books on my mobile, I would like to know which of these two devices I've shortlisted can get the maximum reading time after charging my battery to full?

Both devices boast a unbelievably high battery life in their adverts. Asus fonepad is supposed to have a 3G standby time of 39 HRS, while Moto G is believed to run for a whole day after a charge.

I would like to know from the pros, which of these two will give me a maximum battery life (in terms of reading time of PDfs/EPUBs).

I can think of expanding my budget a bit and going for Samsung Galaxy Note, but only if I get a major improvement in battery life compared to the other two. Whats your suggestion?
