What do data, data cache, and OBB mean when installing applications?

What is the difference between data, data cache and OBB? I've been seeing them when I'm downloading apks from other app website providers. Sometimes, they're separated from the APK file download server (e.g.; "Download APK", "Download APK + DATA"/ "Download APK + DATA CACHE", "Download APK + OBB"). Other times, they have these "ARM" versions, or something like that. Do the "resources" on some apps need to be downloaded for the completion of installation, DATA or OBB?
