How do I expand the ring time for incoming calls?

I purchased the Moto G 2nd Gen recently after having Samsung Galaxy S3. Very happy with it but can never get to the phone in time to answer it. I am constantly calling people back. This is just from looking in my handbag or being in another room! Seriously, I am not that slow lol. Can someone tell me how?
